Awesome Teaching

Encouraging You to be Who God created for you to Be! Not who the "World" says that you are and
suggest for you to be!

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may
prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

"I am who God says that I am"

1 Peter 1:3-25
King James Version    You are a child of God, born of the incorruptible seed of the Word of God which liveth forever

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us
again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4To an inheritance incorruptible, and
undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5Who are kept by the power of God through faith
unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be,
ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold
that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus
Christ: 8Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy
unspeakable and full of glory: 9Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

10Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should
come unto you: 11Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it
testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. 12Unto whom it was revealed, that not
unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have
preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look
into.

13Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto
you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts
in your ignorance: 15But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16Because
it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

17And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time
of
your sojourning here in fear: 18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver
and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19But with the precious blood of Christ,
as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but
was manifest in these last times for you, 21Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and
gave
him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

22Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see
that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible,
by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

24For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof
falleth away:

25But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

It is my duty to encourage you all this day even as Peter did with the writing of this letter. As we begin to dig deeper
into this passage of scripture, we understand that Peter wrote this letter to encourage Christians who are suffering
for
Christ. We know that although we may suffer in this life, it will not be forever as we have been given the promise of
Home in Heaven. This World is not our real home, Heaven is! One day we will live with our Heavenly Father in
Heaven
and share His glory.

We have to understand that when we "become " Christians our lives change! And it is in this letter that Peter tells us
how to live a good Christian life, and above that we are to exemplify Christ. As we expound on this passage in the
awesome Word of God, Peter calls for us to understand the grace of God. Through the knowledge of Christ we
acknowledge all that God has done for us, and we are encouraged to learn more about Him.

Looking into verse 3 we discern that we have a certain and lively hope! As we understand all that God has done for
us, we can praise God for a new life and a sure hope through His Resurrection Power. For a time we will suffer
various
kinds of difficulties and troubles, it is through these places of suffering that God allows to Prove that our Faith in Him
is
genuine. Faith in God is more valuable than  gold. I am reminded that without faith it is impossible to please Him
(Hebrews 11:6).

Gold is tested by fire to purify it. Our genuine faith will cause us to give Him all the praise honor and glory that is due
to Him in acknowledgement of our salvation. We are not urged to guess what God will do, rather we are urged to trust
Him to do what He said He will. The reason why we should praise God is because before we knew Him for
ourselves
(relationship) and not through the life of another (traditionalism) we were subjected to sin and we all know sin equals
punishment at some point. Well because of God's mercy and grace we have been forgiven and accepted by Him as
a
member of His family. Here we learn of how truly Great God's love is for us (AGAPE).
When we are given this new life (born again) we come alive in our spirit. We become a part of His family, we are
Christians. Jesus explains this process to Nicodemus in John 3:1-21.

Verse 4 speaks to our inheritance, our's is not like the inheritances of this world as Peter describes it on three
different levels.1. It will never wear out or get old. Nothing can destroy it. 2. It will not spoil or go bad. 3. It will not lose
it's beauty. God keeps our inheritance protected in heaven and this is done on behalf of each child that dares to
believe His promises.

Verse 5 speaks to protection which means God's power will guard our spirits as we trust in Him, His power will
make us
strong. We will not run away or hide from our Christianity but we will trust until Jesus comes again (Revelation 1:8).

Verse 6 speaks to understanding what Peter wrote in verses 3-5, which will bring us joy in our spirits. Though we
may
suffer for a little while we know and understand that to suffer with Him is to reign with Him (2 Timothy 2:12).

Verse 7 we discern that it's easy to be a Christian when everything is "all good" yet when there is trouble it can be very
hard to trust. God uses these troubles to make our faith strong and pure in Him. Though we may not understand
some
of God's purposes we can joy in knowing He shall reveal them all in the end, unto Judgement.

Verse 8 Peter had been in the company of Jesus for 3 years and is writing to a people who have never seen Jesus.
We know that to believe in Jesus is to trust and obey Him though we cannot see Him. Through faith and obedience
joy
arises in our spirits as given by God. Salvation is comes in a trinity past, present, and future. Salvation in the past,
when people first became Christians (vs 3). Salvation in the present, as we learn to trust God each day and to receive
His help (vs 5).
Salvation in the future, when we will receive all of God's promises in heaven (vs 4-5)

Journeying along to verse 13-25 we see that we are advised to live holy lives.
v13 God has prepared this wonderful *salvation for you. So now, you must concentrate on how God wants you to live
as Christians. Put all your *hope in God’s goodness, when Jesus comes back to earth again (When Jesus returns
he
will give great *blessings. To *hope means to expect something that God has promised ).
v14 Obey God, because you are now his children. Before you knew Christ, you wanted to do evil things. You did those
evil things because you did not know any better (Children often look like their parents and behave like them.
Christians are now children of God, because God is their Father in heaven. God is holy. God wants his children to be
like him. They must have his character in their lives. To be holy means to be completely separate from all *sin and
evil.
It also means to belong to God alone. God commands Christians to be holy. The Holy Spirit makes them holy (vs 2).
This does not mean that Christians can live their lives completely without *sin. This will only happen in heaven. But
with
God’s help they must now try hard to avoid all *sin and evil in every part of their lives).

v15 God has called you to know him and to serve him. And God is holy. Therefore, you too must be holy in everything
that you do. vs16 This is what God commands in the Bible:

‘Be holy because I am holy’ (Leviticus 11:44, 45; 19:2; 20:7, 26).

v17 You pray to God as your Father. But remember that he deals with everybody in the same fair way. So, while you
are living here on earth, honour God in all that you do. (Christians can pray to God as their Father. But he does not
deal with other people in a different way. He does not judge people by what their faces look like. Instead, God judges
all people by his standard of what is good and evil. God sees how every person lives. To fear God does not mean to
be afraid of him. It means that Christians should respect and obey God because he is great and holy. Peter again
reminds Christians that they are strangers in this world. Their true home is in heaven).

v18 Remember that the life that you lived in the past was of no worth to God. Your parents, and the people who lived
before you, taught you to live in that way. Now God has bought you and freed you from that way of life. He did not buy
you with silver or gold, which people can destroy. v19 Instead God bought you with the precious blood of Christ.
Christ
was like a perfect lamb (young sheep) that the *Jews *sacrificed.

v20 God chose Christ before the world began. But Christ came into the world in these last days for your benefit. v21
Through Christ you believed in God who raised Christ from death. God gave Christ *glory. So, you believe and trust
God that he will do what he has promised

(Jesus says that the only way that a person can come to God the Father is through Jesus Christ his Son (John 14:6).
People of many different religions say that they believe in God. If they do not believe in Jesus, then they are not
Christians. They do not have *eternal life with God. Jesus rose from death and came alive again. Later, he returned
to
heaven and received *glory from God (Philippians 2:6-11; Ephesians 1:20-21). Christians have a sure *hope in God
because they know that he always keeps his promises).

v22 You have obeyed the truth and made your lives pure. Now you can have a sincere love for all Christians. So, love
each other deeply from your spirit

(Every day, Christians must obey the truth. This will make their life pure. Psalm 119:9 says, ‘How can a young man
live
a pure life? When he lives the way that God’s word tells us’. The Bible is God’s word. The Bible is truth.

As Christians become purer in their lives, they will have a deeper love for each other. They will not have evil thoughts
and feelings about other Christians. To have sincere love means they really care about other people. They mean
what
they say. People are not sincere when they just pretend to love other people.

‘Have a sincere love for all Christians’. The *Greek word for ‘love’ in this sentence describes the love that brothers
and
sisters have for each other in a family. All Christians are members of one very big family. God is their Father. We have
Christian brothers and sisters who live in every country of the world.

‘So continue to love each other deeply from your heart’. This word ‘love’ comes from another *Greek word that
describes the pure love of God. This love always gives more than it takes. Paul describes it in 1 Corinthians 13.
Christians should love each other in the same way that God loves them. To love deeply means that love is strong).

. v23 Now you have new birth. This new birth did not come from something that dies. It comes from a seed that
cannot
die. The seed is alive. It is the permanent word from God. v24 The Bible says

‘All people are like grass.
All their *glory is only like flowers that grow in the field.
Grass dies and flowers fall off.

v25    But the word of the Lord lives for always’ (Isaiah 40:6-8).
And this word is the good news about Jesus that you have heard (when people hear or read this good news, it is like
a
seed that God plants in their lives. Seeds grow into plants. However, plants die. But the seed of God’s word will never
die. It gives a person new birth into God’s family).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's in the process of "Becoming" that we lose sight of "Being" who God created for us to "Be !!!

In these very trying times, many are growing weary and faint hearted and are in great need of encouragement. Well
today by God's Spirit , I come to encourage you to be all that you can be in Christ Jesus. This is a time where I have
personally grown n spiritual maturity as it relates to faith, obedience and total trust in the Lord our God, and I am sure
that this also speaks to many of you as a corporate body today. For many of you it has been a time of Process and
transition even to the place of wait as it relates to Positioning and Stability. Many of you have been holding on to the
promises of God even as it relates to "Restoration". Some have even felt alone in the journey as it would seem that
no
one understands. Know that the Spirit of the Lord would have for me to encourage you this day to "Expect" Him to
make good on His Word and Promises to you!!!

No matter where you are today in relation to the circumstances of life, know that you are not situation does not
determine your outcome. We have to come to understand that we have been created in His image and therefore we
become (through processing) more like Christ as we die to self. This world thrives around the image of "self". It is
through the yielding of self and man's way (system) that we are perfected in Christ and led in God's way (Kingdom)
which positions us to inherit the promises of God. Once we are able to acknowledge that we are not our own and that
we have been created with a purpose, is when truly we become "alive" and begin to live in the will of God for our life
through faith and obedience.

Many have been worn out and just tired spiritually because is some place or another we have forgotten who we are
and whose we are! When we begin to acknowledge who we are in Christ Jesus than we begin to see with a new
sight.
You see the things of this world are temporal and forever subjected to change. The Word of God (Jesus made
manifest/full of grace and truth) is infallible, never changing it is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever! Why is it
then that we find ourselves struggling to believe Him because of the things that we see which contradict the things
that
are hoped for which will be made manifest through faith by His grace according to His Word?

Let's look deeper into the meaning of the word "Be" to gain a better understanding of "Being and Becoming (
process)
all that God created you to "Be""

1. To exist in actuality; have life or reality: = To Be, To Occur, To live
2.

Continue
3. To take place; occur: =Exist, Come to mind, Happen (To Be)
4. To go or come:= Move along; Past or Proceed = Move from there to here, Arrive or Appear
5. Used as a copula in such senses as:
a. To equal in identity: =Created in His Image (reflect)
b. To have a specified significance: =Purpose
c. To belong to a specified class or group: =Kingdom of God (Family)
d. To have or show a specified quality or characteristic: =Anointing (gits/talents)

Dear Prophetess Friar,

It is with Much love, Great hope, and Expectation that I Greet You in the name of
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

I have been reading, and rereading your Weekly WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
that you sent on Jan. 20, 2011. It is so Awesome!!!! I read that passage of scripture
so many times, but with little understanding of what Peter was really saying, but through
your taking this passage of scripture Line upon Line, Precept upon Precept, and
allowing GOD to just pour revelation through you I'm, and have truly been blessed.
This Letter written by Peter  is so ENCOURAGING, and Gives me so much HOPE.
My FAITH has increased so much, Renewed if you will. I even have a greater
understanding of GOD'S LOVE for me. GOD loves me in spite of me, my failures, or
my short comings, my feeling of constantly letting GOD down because of something
that I felled to do, or be. I realize that I cannot be anything apart from GOD!!! I know
that the testing, and trials that we go through is not because GOD doesn't love us, but to
purify us so that we can have genuine Faith BECAUSE GOD HAS BECOME REAL
TO US!!! not just because someone else said so. ( Praise God) For out of this
knowledge comes a genuine Love for Christ, and a true understanding of the things
he suffered for us.(Praise God)Then a new Sound begins to come forth out of us, a
Sound of True Praise and, True Worship. I now understand even more how
important it is to know who we are IN Christ, and all that it means for us as His
Children. I could go on, and on with these Great and Awesome Truths. There has
been so many things that has been tested in this season including my Faith, but
now I can say that my Faith has been renewed, my Strength has been renewed, my
Hope has been renewed. I can feel the Resurrection Power of Jesus Christ Alive on
the inside of me, and I know that my REDEEMER LIVES!!!! I thank GOD for you Sister
Kiyante, and for the awesome Ministry that he has given you. It is indeed one of
genuine Love, for it shows forth the Love of our Father, and our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ, and bears the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. I thank God for the VISION that he
